AllPro Home Health featured an impressive lineup of area physicians at its first annual Fall-Palooza and Health Fair at Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda. The free event took place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, under the covered walkway at the Punta Gorda harborside shopping plaza.
The physicians presented free lectures on various health topics at the Village’s Center Court throughout the day. Five of the doctors are associated with Fawcett Memorial Hospital: Drs. Sam J. Hess, Charles V. Toman, Domingo Galliano, Alvaro R. Bada and Charlene Q. Okomski. The other physicians making presentations were Dr. Daniel Kirschner of Kirschner Chiropractic and Wellness, Dr. Alan W. Gruning of Gruning and Associates, and Dr. Antoine Dakouny of Punta Gorda.
In addition to the physician lectures, the Fall-Palooza and Health Fair featured more than 50 vendors offering information on banking solutions, geriatric care management, diabetic shoes and foot care, acupuncture and massage, home health planning, dermatology, durable medical equipment, pharmaceutical supplies, insurance needs, water analysis/treatment, women’s fitness, environmentally-friendly dry cleaning, senior living and rehabilitation, landscaping, funeral home services and other topics.
AllPro’s profits from the event were donated to H.E.L.P. in Charlotte County, Inc., which provides food to 26 area food pantries.
