Keep Your Balance!
Balance problems can happen for a number of reasons, including head injuries, orthopedic conditions, Parkinson's disease, stroke and other neurological conditions. The vestibular system helps to maintain your equilibrium. More than 200 conditions can produce symptoms of dizziness.
With your doctor's prescription, AllPro Home Health can provide a comprehensive evaluation of dizziness, imbalance and vertigo. A physical therapist, who specializes in vestibular disorders, will offer an assessment of strength, walking, balance skills and movement tolerance to identify problems affecting your balance right in the comfort of your home.
Vestibular rehab therapy uses exercise to reduce the severity of dizziness because of balance problems. It also helps you learn to compensate for your balance disorder.
